Security

Protecting confidential information is and important part of the League Savings Privacy Code. Standards for Internet security have been adopted for your protection.

Encryption

When applying for a mortgage online, or when navigating within the login space, information passing between your computer and our Internet server is encrypted. This means that the text being transferred is scrambled when it leaves your computer, and then decrypted to plain text when it is received by our server.

Browsers

Web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator are available using either 40-bit, or 128-bit encryption. As you might guess, 128-bit encryption is the strongest of the two, and provides the highest degree of protection when transmitting data over the Internet.

League Savings has structured a secure environment that is capable of transferring data with the highest level of security. For this reason, League Savings strongly recommends that you use a browser with 128-bit encryption to do your part in maintaining the security of your confidential data. If you are unsure of the encryption capabilities of your browser, we recommend that you check with the browser developer to determine the current status.
